Information regarding bachelor's theses

  • As a bachelor thesis mentor please consult the Instruction for mentors before you file a thesis proposition.
  • The proposition can be filed only through the appropriate form.
  • Overview of the available topics for bachelor's theses are in IS.
  • Use theses templates common for the whole of Masaryk University.
Master's students

Information on theses and dissertations

  • Submit thesis topic proposals in time (preferably by October 20) so that the topics can be approved and entered into IS in time for students to register by October 31 of the year.
  • Use the relevant form to submit your thesis topic.
  • The thesis is experimental and is based on a literature search and presentation of the results of the student's experimental work.
  • The standard time for thesis is 4 semesters.
  • Each topic is intended for one student only.
  • Students should apply for the topic by October 31 of the year in question.
  • The thesis can be written in Czech, English or Slovak,
    The Slovak language must be approved by the thesis supervisor and the pedagogical deputy director of the institute via the Office application in IS MU.
  • When preparing the thesis, please follow the guidelines for thesis preparation at the Department of Biochemistry.

Formal requirements of doctoral studies

  • Consult the progress of your doctoral studies with your mentor and the guarantor of the programme.
